The Irving Aaron Kitchen of Kindness proudly carries the name of a man whose life reflected perseverance, integrity and extraordinary generosity. Irving Aaron z”l believed in hard work, commitment to community and never giving up. Above all, he built a close, loving and caring family whose dedication to helping others continues today.
Through the generosity of Ruth Aaron and the Aaron family, his memory will continue to inspire people of every age to gather, prepare nourishing meals and bring comfort to those who need it most. Every meal prepared, every volunteer welcomed and every act of kindness shared becomes part of the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

The Acts of Kindness Volunteer Room is dedicated in loving memory of Rabbi Mordechai Berger z”l, a beloved father, teacher and source of strength whose life was defined by sincerity, faith and genuine care for others.

Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky z”l devoted his life to supporting the Rebbe’s shluchim and strengthening Jewish communities across the globe. Whether in major cities, distant islands or far-flung communities across India, Africa and beyond, he cared deeply for those who dedicated their lives to serving others, offering encouragement, guidance and unwavering support with genuine love for every person.
The Kitchen of Kindness initiative is bringing the meaningful act of preparing food for those in need to Chabad Houses around the world. We are honoured to carry its name and proud to serve as its Ottawa representative, joining a growing global network united through kindness, compassion and service.
